Show COLORADO STILL 1 COUNTING VOTES Denver, Sept. 12. At 2.30 o'clock today, nearly 45 hours after the polls closed in Tuesday's primary election, unofficial returns from 45 out of 62 counties showed Governor Shafroth leading former Governor Alva Adams, his nearest opponent, by approximately approximate-ly 6,500 for the Democratic nomination for United States senator. Clyde C. Dawson, regular Republican, led Morle D. Vincent by about 5,000 for the Republican nomination. E. M. Ammons, Democrat, had approximately approximate-ly 8,500 plurality over his nearest competitor in tho gubernatorial race, while Philip B. Stewart, Progressive Republican, led C. C. Parks, regular, by a margin of about 300. Leaders in the race for congress-mon-at-largo were: E. T. Taylor and Edward Keating. Democrats; S. H( Kinsley and J. J. Laton, Republicans. |
