Show REUNION OF TWOARMIES G. A. R. Official Plans Gathering of the Blue and the Gray Los Angeles, Sept. 12. The- business busi-ness session of the forty-sixth national na-tional encampment Grand Array of the Republic was opened this morning morn-ing when Harvey M Trimble, commander-in-chief, made his annual address. ad-dress. Reports of other officers and committees were heard during the day. The report of Commander-in-Chief Trimble referred to the work done by the G. A. R. for a reunion of the blue and the gray on the fiftieth anniversary an-niversary of the battle of Gettvsburg and also took up matters relative to the proposed incorporation of the G - R., one of the leading matters of business before the convention Tlie investigation of the treatment of the veterans at the soldiers' home at Dayton. Ohio, against which charges have been made, was referred re-ferred to. Reference was made to the observance observ-ance of memorial day, flag day. a monument to loyal women and the southern memorial fund. Other reports were made by the following officers: Nicholas W. Day. sonfor vice commander-in-chief- William A Ogden. junior vice commander-in-chief. John D. Hanrahan, surgeon-general: J. Wynne Jones, chaplain-ln-chlef; 'Charles P. E. Koch, adjutant general, C D. R. Stowlts, quartermaster general; gen-eral; William A. Ketchum. judge advocate ad-vocate general; J. B Lewis, national nation-al patriotic instructor Committee reports were made on the Investigation or the National Soldiers' home at Dayton.
