The fact that Mrs Cecil Clark Davis had brought suit in February, 1910, for a divorce from Richard Harding Davis, the author, au-thor, did not bocome public until her attorneys, Jerome, Rand & Kresel, applied to Supreme Court Justice Guy to have tho case discontinued and stricken from the calendar, and the court granted the request. Mr. Rand said that th0 grounds for tho divorce action had never become public and probably never would. He declined to say whether there had boon a reconciliation. rec-onciliation. Mrs. Davis is the daughter daugh-ter of of John Clark of Chicago and married tho writer in 1S99. She is wealthy in her own right. |
