Show PLATFORM Executive Committee Announces Stand On Arbitration Mohonk, N. Y., May 17. The platform plat-form reported today by the executive committeo of tho Lake Mohonk conference con-ference on International arbitration, for adoption was in part as follows: "Tho eighteenth Lake Mohonk conference con-ference on International arbitration expresses its profound gratitude to the president of tho United States for his illustrious service for the cause of International peace in tho effort for the arbitration treaties with Great Britain and Franco. Wo believe that the president in this memorable effort, ef-fort, represented tho local popular sentiment of the people and, deploring the defeat for tho movement of hla high purpose, we call upon tho peoplo for unremitting endeavor to secure the early conclusion of treaties of equal or broader scope with the great nations na-tions of the world "It is pre-eminently tho duty of the United State to maintain strong leadership lead-ership In this commanding cause Wc record with satisfaction the recent lat-iflcatlon lat-iflcatlon by the senate of tho United States of tho declaration of London, which makes it possible to establish the international prize court, and on tho eve of the creation of tho committee com-mittee to prepare tho program for the International conference wc urge such broad and advanced American action as snail contriDUie io secure me mu&i efficient basis ot organization and procedure pro-cedure for this and future conferences; the adoption of a general treaty, tho marked development of the international interna-tional court and united action for the limitation of armamonts.
