Show WEBERCLUBHAS ACCEPTED THE KIESELOFFER Tho special meeting of the Weber club laHt evening was attended by more than one hundred of the members mem-bers who unanimously voted to ac-copt ac-copt Fred J- Klescl's offer to build a suitable building on hla property at Hudson avenue and Twenty-fourth street and give the club a long-time lease on the entire second floor which will bo especially arranged for club quarters. As stated In the Standard last week, the building will have a frontage front-age on HudBon avenue of 105 feet and on Twenty-fourth street of 55 fet At the roar will bo an oil extending westward about 45 feet which will give an entire floor spaco for the club of 10,200 square feet, while the present pres-ent quarters presents but a littlo over 5,700 square feet. The building will bo of a handsome fctyle of architecture in keeping with the purposes to which It will be put and will be of but two storic3, thus affording the club rooms with an abundance of light for all rooms On the we6t Is property belonging to Mr Klesel and he stated to the club dlroctors today that he will agree there shall be a large light court provided pro-vided should he al any time erect a building on that side of the club Diilldlng. Prospective drawings and plans have boon prepared for the new cljb houso by Shreove & Madson. Actual construction will begin as scon as i the old building, until yesterday oc-' cupied as temporary quarters by the Commercial National hank, can be tern down. , Tho club members are congratulating congratulat-ing themselves on tho apparent so-1 lutlon of a problem which has proved a most cxlng one for past two years i that of securing or building suitable suit-able quarters for the club |
