Show JURY IN THE CASE ' After empaneling a jury to hear the case of A. G. Horn against tho Stephens Investment company, this morning, Judge Howell adjourned court until tomorrow morning, out of respect to Frederic A. Burt, whose funeral was held this afternoon. The jurymen sworn to hear the J case are Richard Slator, James i Daley, Samuel Blair, James Storey, I A. B. Corey, Samuel Sissman, John ' Nicholas and William Stlmson. The plaintiff Is suing tho defendant company for alleged professional services ser-vices rendered In tne years 1909 and 1910, the fee claimed to be due being $150. Attorney Horn avers that he rendered legal services to the defendants de-fendants and aided materially In so-curing so-curing franchises for them that was reasonably worth the amount asked for. The defendants In their answer deny de-ny that they ever employed Judge Horn to do the legal work alleged, and they say that they are not Indebted Indebt-ed to him. |
