Newman Erb, a financial associate of the late Edwin Hawley, todaj was olectcd a director of the Pere' Marquette railway rail-way and chairman ot its executive committee, a change in tho management manage-ment of the road, which apparently confirm recent reports that Mi. Erb and others formerly associated with Mr Hawley -hud obtained stock control con-trol fron J. p. Morgan & Co.
