Show REGAINS RIS MIND IN JAIL C. H. Jamison, who was taken to the padded coll of tho county jail Thursday ovoning a raving maniac, Is much Improved and bo says he cannot understand what happened to him. Ho camo from Salt .Lake during tho day and, not fooling well, he says ho drank a glass of brandy and a couple of glasses of beer. He has no roool-loctlon roool-loctlon of what happened after that. Mr. Jamison was discovered on lower Twenty-fifth street, at about I o'clock, raving and charging at every body and every thing. Ho talked everything that a crazy mnn could thing' of and hnminored his flsta agaliiBt walls and doors, and he refused re-fused to tell who he was or where ho came from. Today he recovered his normnl condition, con-dition, oxcept that he Is ery weak and will have to be kopt under the doctor's care a number of days. Ho gives his name as C. H. Jamison and states that ho resides at Portland, where ho has a number of children and grandchildren. Ho is 61 vears old |
