Show CONVENTION TO COffiE HERE Manager C. M. Clay of tho Ogden Fruit Growers' association and a delegate dele-gate for the organization to the stato convention of tho Utah Horticultural Society, states that there is not much doubt In his mind but that Ogden will bo selected as the convention place of the association for next year Mr. Clay states that a strong delegation dele-gation from the Ogden district -will attend the Provo convention and that with the co-operation of the special envoys from the Weber club, there will be much boosting for Ogden. The convention opens at Provo, 'Monday , morning, and extensive preparations, have been made for the reception of tho visiting horticulturallsts, the hospitality hos-pitality of the people of the Garden City being conceded to be without stint or restriction. It is contended that Ogden Is naturally na-turally entitled to tho 1913 convention, conven-tion, a demand for it having not been made by Ogden fruit growers In previous prev-ious year. Mr. Clay and other fruit growers of this locality contond Ogden Og-den naturally Is the center of tho fruit growing business of Utah and that a convention here will get together to-gether more fruit men than could be assembled at any other placo In tho stato. Logan is making a strong effort ef-fort for the convention of next year. |
