Basing his opinion on the results In Massachusetts, Massachu-setts, Kentucky, Ohio and other points where Democratic candidates were elected yesterday Gqv, Harmon to-day to-day predicted a national landslide next year. "The results of thoso olections havo pleased mo very-much," he said, ."and I consider them a forecast of what la to come next year. It is the strong-, est indorsement of Democracy that has ' been tendered by voters In recont years." When asked regnrdlng the Cincinnati Cincin-nati results, Mr Harmon said: "Personally nothing could have pleased me better. I have fought for 25 years to free Cincinnati from the sway of Republicanism and am delighted de-lighted to iind that the voters have' awakened. "Signs of victory from the ' Democratic Demo-cratic party are evident everywhere. Next year I predict that this party will win the -national offices including includ-ing tho presidency." |
