Show SOLDIER WOUNDED BY BURGLAR GETS PENSION JUNCTION' CITY. Kan., Nov. 7. Holding that his Injuries suffered In a fight with a burglar were lecclved in line of dutv, a board of army officers offi-cers at Fort Rllo today granted Private Pri-vate William H. Graves of the Mounted Mount-ed Service schools a disability discharge dis-charge and a pension of $35 a month. Graves was shot several months ago after a revolver duel with a burglar burg-lar who broke Into His home hore. The burglar escaped after one of his bullets had splintered tne soldier's leg In such a way as to cripple him for Hfc and unfit him for further service ser-vice in the army. oo |
