Show 'KING JUfflR BOYS ENTERTAIN The entertainment given last night by the Excalibur Castle. Knights of King Arthur, to the parents and friends of the boy members of tho organization or-ganization proved the most successful affair yt attempted by the young knights. It was held in the parlors of the First Methodist church and was largely attonded. The opening number of the evening's even-ing's program consisted of a ritualistic ritualis-tic proceeding by the boys, who appeared ap-peared in their King Arthur regalia. Brief talks were made by several of Mie guests present, among them being Q R. Craft, district forester; J. Frank Prcshaw, of Kansas City; J. J. Bruni-mitt Bruni-mitt and others A feature of the evening's entertainment enter-tainment was "the human transformation" transforma-tion" in which boys were transformed into girls and vice versa. At the conclusion con-clusion of the program refreshments were served. The success of the entertainment en-tertainment is chiefly duo to tho efforts ef-forts of Frank Owen, tho presiding ofllcer and known as "king," and Roy Hardy, secretary of tho organization. |
