I Pledging ourselves to the support of all things which we conceive to be for the best interests, moral and commercial, of the City of Ogden, State of Utah, and profiting by the un- , I varying experience of other cities snd states, We the undersigned citizens of Ogden, forming the Manufacturers' and Business Men's Association of Ogden, hereby declare that M we are unfavorable to the adoption of prohibition in this City, for the reason that all past experience proves irrefutably that prohibition is invariably followed by a reign of immor- m ality and evil worse than that which it seeks to suppress. We further record ourselves as emphatically in favor of law enforcement, proper restrictions and positive regulations, JJS which tend to eliminate the evils now complained of, and we pledge ourselves to lend our united and organized efforts in this direction.
