Show BANQUET IS GIVEN AT VIRGINIA Wednesday evening the Sacred Heart Academy alumnae association gave a most elaborate banquet at the Virginia In honor of tho class of 1911, to which about thirty-five guests were bidden. Tho spacious parlors were transformed into a veritable carden of beauty a profusion of beautiful June roses scattered throughout the rooms and forming a center-piece for the tables, lent a 6weet perfume to the air. A dainty rose bud adorned the place oC each guest. The soft red glow of numerous electric lights served serv-ed to enhance the beauty of tho scene. An elaborate live-course supper waB served, where Irish wit and gay repartee flowed freely. After several hours spent at the "fcBtal board" an initiation of the new members of tho association took place, which was heartily enjoyed by all, especially the unsuspecting victims vic-tims of the class of 1911. At a late hour the merry party adjourned, ad-journed, to awa't anxiously another reunion next June Besides the members of tho Alumnae Alum-nae and the class of 1911, those who partook of the festivities were the Rev. Fathers Cushnahan, Ryan. J. B Thompson of Bozeman, Montana; L. J Kellidy and W H. Leary, of Salt Lake, Dr. Tyler of Twin Falls, Idaho, Mr. and Mrs. Grill, Mr. and Mrs, Ragan ot Ogden and Mrs. Roberts of Cokcvllle, Wyoming. |
