This is the day yoa vote; This Is whore You step forth in the clear November air, Puff out your chest, Pull down your vest And sav To all "the world: ', - "I AM AN AMERICAN CITIZEZN!" This is when ' All other men Step aside While you parade with 'pride Up to the polling place, Up to the spot Where your warrant of freedom Goes into the slot! What is king to such as you? An emperor Is not 1, 2. l And thrones and crowns and scepters stop , And give the ballot box the drop' Gee whiz, ' ' Can't you hear the sizz Of the hot stuff as you drop in The ticket that you voto to win? Ain't it great To steer the Ship of State l our way? Horrny ; For this grand day! By cripes, Tho Stars and Stripes ' Wave higher and more proudly when They float above a citizen; v A Citizen, a fiee man who Does what he knows that he should do. , But say, ' Do you voto that way?
