Behind thc grim walls of the Idaho penitentiary there was enacted a dramatic sccn'o a few days ago when Harry Orchard, murdered of former Governor Stoun-enberg Stoun-enberg and confessed slayer of fourteen four-teen other men, stood face to face with tho woman he had widowed and was forgiven by her for the awful crime he had committed and for which he Is now spending thc balance of his Hfo In prison. Aged b the crime that had been committed upon her doorstep, when her husband was blown Into eternity through the fateful bomb that Orchard had fastened to the gate, her hair streaked with silvery gray, Mrs. Steuncnbcre- nervouslv called upon Warden John Snook explaining v.-ho she was and asking that Orchard be brought before her Tho warden explained ex-plained that he would send u-nrrl tn Orchard that she wauted to interview hlmf but unless he wished to come of his own accord he would not be compelled com-pelled to see her.
