Earl, publisher of thc Tribune and the Express, Ex-press, of any culpability ln reforenco to the allegations made by other paper pa-per publishers that he sought to in-lluence in-lluence the cltyi council In fixing telephone rates. The Investigation of the telephone rate matter followed the Indictment of Mr. Earl on the charge of having published the contents of an aerogram aero-gram that passed between tho editor and mauager of an opposition paper. |
