Four persona are dead and another fatally Injured as tho result of a frightful railway crossing accident near Olivia, Iowa, today near noon An automobile occupied oc-cupied by J. J. Johnson, a farmer, living liv-ing near Akron, Iowa'and family, was struck by a Northwestern passenger train traveling thirty miles an -hour The dead: A. F JOHNSON. MRS. JOHNSON, his wife. FLORENCE tfOHNSON, 11 years old. DOROTHY JOHNSON. 5 vears old. FERN JOHNSON, aged 8. will die. The automobile was carried 100 feot on .tho pilot of the engine before it dropped off. When tho engineer stopped stop-ped he found the mother dead on the pilot. Mrs. Johnson and two daughters daugh-ters were picked up along the track. Floronco Johnson died on tho way to this place, and Mrs. Johnson died after reaching tho hospital here. |
