Show BEASON SUIT' FOR BUYING CATTLE In Judge Harris' division of the district court this morning, tho case of C. M. Beason, against the WcbI-ern WcbI-ern Meal company, was taken up for trial. The plaintiff is suing tho meat company to recover $1,500, alleged to bo due as commission for tho purchase pur-chase of 2,000 head of cattlo, the claim being mado that the plaintiff acted as agent for the dofondant on a commission of 60 cents per head. It is stated In the complaint that the cattle wore purchuaed at Logan of one Hnnson, between August 1, 1908. ami January 1, 1009. The defendant denies the allegations allega-tions of the complaint and avers that there Is no amount due the plaintiff for alleged services as commission agent. Tho following jurymen were empaneled empan-eled to hear the case: W B Porterfleld. X. H Barker, R. L Crosbie, Philip L Orth, Georgo A Poulter, Enoch Bingham, William H. Adams and F. G. Edson. |
