April 26. Announce- ' ment was made here last night that the Christian Herald sent $15,000 to tho state departmont for transmission by cable to China for the use of tho famine sufferers. This makes $117,000 transmitted to China by the publication, including the cost of one million pounds of flour shipped on the United States transport Buford and now being distributed dis-tributed to the famine sufferers.
