One of tho prettiest of the home weddings that have occurred during tho month was the Farr-Moas marriage, mar-riage, which was solemnized Tuesday evening, when President James Woth-' erspoon Joined In holy wedlock Miss Fern Farr, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Farr, and granddaughter of the late Hon. Lorln Farr, and Frank Moss of Boston. Mass. , The pretty Farr home on Canyon road was transformed ihto a veritable bower of fcrnB and moss, typical of the names of the bride and .groom, together to-gether with a wealth of roses and bridal wreath At 6 o'clock the bridal pair entered the parlor to the low, sweet strains of Mendelssohn's wedding wed-ding march, which was played softly, throughout the nuptial ceremony by Mrs. R P. Hunter f The bride, who was unaccompanied, was charmingly beautiful In a gown Of white marquisette over messallne, with orange blossoms adding a dainty touch to the soft dark hair, and carrying a shower bouquet of bride's roses, and the groom was In full evening dress. Members of the Farr family and a numbor of relatives witnessed the wecL-) ding ceremony, and at S o'clock a reception re-ception to 125 guests was held. Choice rausjeal numbers, happy greetings, warm congratulation's and a pleasant social period were followed by the serving of refreshments by the Misses Pauline, Lyndall and Grace Farr, sisters sis-ters of the bride. The dining room presented a truly lovely picture with ItB artlBtlc and effective adornment of roses, bridal wreath, ferns and moss. On the dining table a handsomo bab tenberg lace cover over dainty pink satin was graced by a lovely floral centerpiece, banked by mos3 and ferns. Festoons of white tulle from the chan.; dellcr to the table were fastened with white satin bows, and sparkling cut glass and silver with dainty ohlna completed com-pleted the tablo appointments. On tho sideboard, banked with ferns and roses, rested the large and elaborately decorated wedding cake. Many beautiful wedding gifts wore received, together with best wishes from a host of friends and pleasant messages from tho absent. Mr. and Mrs. Moss left last night for Portland, Seattle and California points, and will spend tho major portion por-tion of their honeymoon In Los Angeles. An-geles. BIRTHDAY PARTY. One of tho rare sweet pictures which every one enjoys was seen at the home of Mr, and Mrs. Earl Gelgcr, Thursday, Thurs-day, when gay little June, thoir daughter, daugh-ter, celebrated her third birthday.
