Tho Ladies' Liteiary club met yes-torday yes-torday afternoon with their president, Mrs. Douglas Watson, the occasion being be-ing tho thirteenth anniversary of the club. A delightful afternoon was spent. Tho work and growth of the club since its organization was recalled re-called by members present and many pleasant reminiscences aside from tho card games added to the pleasure of this anniversary event. Five hundred was the game played, Mrs. A. G. Bowman smd Mrs. Douglas Watson winning the prizes. Those present were Mesdames William Wil-liam Allison, II. D Baglcy, A G. Bowman, Bow-man, V. P. Cain, Fred Clark, William Douglas, I. K Fulton, F. A. Herdtl. R. B. Porter, Joseph Scowcroft, Joseph Thomas, Douglas Watson, W C. Wright.
