The indications are that with today the attendance will bo Ha much larger and will increase from day to day. H'9 lira. Armstrong, dainty in white, was cordially received as she K took her place upon the platform where the gas stoves, the rcfrig- Hflj crators, the cooking tables and the ingredients were in readiness. HV The bill of fare consisted of a nut loaf, date muffins, steamed choc H olate pudding and foamy sauce. B The lessons in mixing the several recipes were preceded by a HL practical talk on the regulation of heat. mM One of the economical lessons was the value of cottolenc as a cook- mmm ing fat and its relative cost in comparison with butter and the high H grade larda. This cheaper product is a southern commodity and the MB attraction to many is that it iH a vegetable product, whereas butter Hf and lard are animal fats.
