Show 'BOMBS FOUND IN ST. LOUIS DEPOT ST. LOUIS, April 27. A valise containing con-taining CC pounds of dynamite found under a settee in the second-class vnlllng room In the Union station on Wednesday night, remained In tho lost nrticles room until tonight, when city detectives, who So duty It Is to Inspect all such parcels, opened the valise and discovered what the contents were There Is no cluo to the Identity of the person who left the explosive In the terminal. The dynamite was in two cans. Both cans were ready for firing, each bolns fitted with caps and 20 feet of fuse. The cans wpre wrapped In two gray coat-sweaters, the whole bundle fitting snugly In tho valise. The ends of tho fuses projected from a slight cut In tho grip Just under the lock. On tho order of the chief of police the dynamite wa3 thrown into tho Mississippi river, the percussion caps, fuse, sweators and valise being retained In hopes of furnishing a cluo to the owner and as evidence |
