Show UU HEAD BLOWN Off BY PLAYMATE Tooele, May 23. Lloyd McBrlde, eleven-year-old son of C." R. McBrlde, was shot and Instantly killed by his ten-year-old cousin, Harvey Kirk, about 4 o'clock thl3 afternoon when the boys were out hunting. Young McBrlde's head was shot almost off, so close was he to the gun whon it wns discharged. Tho charge entered tho back of his head and when ho was picked up his brains were oozing out of his shattered skull The boys look a rig this afternoon and a shot gun beonglng to McBride's father to drive four miles east of Tooele to Lincoln to hunt. Young Kirk is unable to 'tell how the accident acci-dent occurred. Immediately after he had shot his cousin he ran for help. While he was gone William Shield came along and found the body of Master McBrlde. lie was already dead. The coroner has decided that no inquest is necessary. The dead boy was a grandson of Francis M. Lyman of Salt Lake. |
