Show EIGHT-HOUR DAY FOR WOMEN DENVER, May 22. The movement to initiate an eight-hour labour; law for women took a definite stop forward for-ward today, when tho Denver Trades and Labor assembly Instructed Its legislate e committee to co-operate with the Woman's Trades Union League in tho campaign to secure tho requisite signatures to a petition to bring the question before tho voters at the next general election. The State Federation of Women's Clubs, thoso behind the movement, will also work for the measure. A bill covering this matter was killed at tho last session of tho legislature. |
