Show CASH BOND FURNISHED BY BOYD Since J. J. Boyd, charged with the Reed hotel robbery of a few days ago, furnished a cash bond of $1,000 for hlB appearance for the preliminary hearing hear-ing before the municipal court, the impression has prevailed among some of the officers that he would not appear ap-pear for the hearing, but would permit per-mit the bond to be forfeited, Mr. Boyd's attorney cays the Impression Impres-sion Is erroneous an dthat his client will appear for hearing when tho case Is called. He states that the money for the bond was telegraphed from a hank In tho northwest and that It was furnished by Boyd's brothers, who are prominent business men of Seattle. Mr Boyd's wife telegraphed for the money and It was forthcoming. The nttorney says that Mr. Bovd has a wife and family living In Salt Lake and thnt the accused js from a good family. The attorney is certain that Boyd Is not guilty of Ihe offenso charged against him and says there is no reason why he should run away and forfeit 51.000. t .
