Show NEW CREAMERY Actual building operations will be started in a few days on a new creamers' cream-ers' building, to be built by the Black-man Black-man & Griffin company on a lot at the rear of the Masonic Temple. The structure will not only be the most modern for the purpose for which it is being built, but also from a general gen-eral architectural standpoint. The building will be two stories in height and covering a ground space of 45X95 feet. It will be absolutely fireproof, even the roof being constructed con-structed of reinforced concrete. George A, Graves is the architect. The Floweiling company has the general building contract, while George A. Lowe company and Wheelwright Bros, are sub-contractors This cream y will have a capacity of 3,000 pounds of butter daily and the plant will afford employment for sovcnty-flve persons. In addition to the butter-making plant, the building will include a large cold storage plant, where fruits and other perishable perish-able produce may be stored. The foundation has already been laid, and It Is expected that within the next few days tho bricklayers will be able to start work on the walls of the building. nn |
