At the same time Mr. Anderson announced that army requirements for soap will be lowered low-ered during the next six months. All of this should result in a substantial increase in soap available avail-able to civilians. Housewives should be persuaded not to raid stores for soap. Soap rationing is not planned. According to Secretary Secre-tary Anderson, it would be "too great a problem ... it will be easier eas-ier on all of us if people buy-only buy-only what is needed instead of starting runs on scare stocks." |
