Show Educator Dies j After Operation 1 Henry Perry Howell, 64, former , Logan and Idaho educator, died j Tuesday at 5 p. m. in an Ogden hospital of a brief illness. He was born June 22, 1884 in ; Clifton, Idaho, a son of Henry J. j and Lucy Bingham Howell and i married Nevada Lusk in 1912 in the Salt Lake temple. Mr. Howell was a school teacher more than 35 years, taught in the Logan district where he was a principal for several years, and in Idahd. He was active in civic affairs. af-fairs. A member of the church, Mr. Howell served in the eaiAsm states mission from 1910 to 1912, was bishop of the Meadow, IPocatello, Idaho, stake ward, and was presi-'dent presi-'dent of the Logan third ward high priest quorum for the past 12 years. Survivors include his widow of Logan, two sons, Keith L. and Roland L. Howell, Logan; three daughters, Hazel and Betty Kay Howell, Logan and Mrs. Louis Bingham, Oakland, California, twa grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Leslie Howell, Pocatello, Idaho; Earl B. Howell, Clifton, Idaho; Roman Howell, of Dayton, Idaho; Ralph Howell, of Whitney, Idaho; Orvin Howell, of Nampa,' Idaho; Mrs. Vernon Henderson Hend-erson and Mrs. Inez Henderson, of Clifton, Idaho. Funeral services for Mr. Howell were conducted today in the Logan Third ward chapel by D. P. Woodland, Wood-land, Bisop. Burial in Logan cemetery ceme-tery will be under direction of the W. Loyal Hall Mortuary. |
