Show College Expert Will Study Garden Program , Dr. Arvil L. Stark, extension hor.iculturi.st at Utah State Agricultural Agri-cultural college and chairman of the Utah victory garden program, will attend a regional victory-garden victory-garden conference in Denver, Col-' orado. February 2 to 4. Horticulture specialists and nutritionists nu-tritionists from extension services of Wyoming, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico have been invited to attend the conference, one of a series of regional meetings to be held throughout the nation. Delegates will report on last year's victory garden program and outline plans for the 1944 season. The goal includes increasing the 'f efficiency 'in production and use of home-grown foods and, in Utah producing even more gardens in 1944 than last year when 69,000 gardens, were grown worth more than $17,000,000. |
