Show United States Civil Service Examinations The United States Civil Sen-ice Commission has announced that applications will be accepted at its Washington ofice for the positions listed bslow. jTwo closing dates are given for receipt of applications the first for applications received from States east of Colorado; the second for applicaions from .Colorado .Colo-rado and States westward. The salary sal-ary in each case is subject to a 3 percent retirement deduction. The age limits do not apply to persons granted veteran preference, up to retirement age. Senior or graduate students now In attendance atten-dance at Institutions of recognized recogniz-ed standing, may be admitted to the examination subject to their furnishing during the existence of the eligible register proof of completion com-pletion of the required course prior to July 1, 1941.
