Show )0 YOL'K DUTY IT'S A PRIVILEGE. i Each two yeai'.s the citizens of the United States j have the privilege of selecting men and women to represent rep-resent them in the offices of trust in relation to the government of the cities, states and nation. After a choice has heen made and the individuals take office there is a lot of things said about them some give praise for the work they are doing while others condemn con-demn them. It is quite possible that the condemnation comes from those who took no part in the campaign before the election and who also did not -bother to vote. That attitude is really an unworthy one. If an individual does not desire to take part and that is a responsibility responsibili-ty we all should assume in the selection of our public officials, he should be the last to .make uncomplimentary uncomplimen-tary remarks about the office holder. So cast- your vote at the Primary election next Tuesday. We are sure that every individual feels that the Democratic form of government is far the better than the other forms in existence at the present time. We have seen the turmoil of dictatorships in other countries coun-tries where men have so anxiously sought power to rule and we know the folly of it. We do not desire to change our form of government and as long as citizens exercise the right to choose their leaders, men of unworthy design de-sign can never take control. Again we say, vote at the Primary election next Tuesday. ( |
