OBITUARIES , Mrs. Laura F. Smith Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Fishburn Smith, 82, lifelong resident resi-dent of Smithfield, who died Wednesday at 7:30 p. m. in a local lo-cal hospital where she was receiving re-ceiving treatment for a fractured hip sustained seven weeks ago in a fall, will be conducted Monday at 1 p. m. in the Smithfield Third ward. She was born February 26, 1862 in Smithfield, a daughter of Robert Rob-ert L., and Priscilla Noble Fish-burn. Fish-burn. She was married to Abraham Abra-ham Smith in the old Salt Lake LDS endowment house in 1880. Mr. Smith died in 1932. Active throughout her life in church work, she was a member of the Relief Society and had done considerable temple work. Survivors include two sons and two daughters: Roy Smith and Mrs. La Von McCann, Smithfield; Clifford F. Smith, Bountiful, and Mrs. Priscilla Blackhurst, Arimo, Idaho; 10 grandchildren, 10 gTeat grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters: P. L. Fish- Mrs. Alma Larson Mrs. Alma Larson, 76, resident of Lewiston for the past 25 years, died Monday at 1 p. m. in a Logan Lo-gan hospital after a lingering illness. She was born in Sweden in 1867. Her husband, Emil Larson, died in 1940. Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted Thursday at 2 p. m. In the Lewiston First ward chapel by Bishop Victor Waddoups. Friends may call at the chapel Thursday from 1:15 p. m. until time of services. Burial in the family plot of the Lewiston cemetery, cem-etery, will be under drection of the W. Loyal Hall mortuary of Logan. |
