Show "ervices Held Thursday For Mrs.Moosman Last rites for Sissie Christina Moosman, 67, of Smithfield, wife of William Moosman who died at the family home Sunday evening following a short illness, were held Thursday at 1p.m. in the Smithfield Third ward chapel, with Bishop Douglas Hooper in charge. The ward choir under the direction dir-ection of Mrs. Emma Hansen, with Mrs. Poulson at the organ, sang three selections. Prayers were offered by Adrain V. Tool-son Tool-son and Henry O. Hansen. Those who paid tribute to Mrs. Moosman as a mother and a true latter day saint, were Bishop Richard Roskelley, Foster Reese of Benson, Mayor L. V. Toolson, Supt. J. W. Kirkbride, Thomas A. King of Escalante and Pres. of the Garfield Stake, and Bishop Douglass Hooper. Special musical numbers were a vocal solo "I will see tim face to face'" by Mrs. Regena C. Smith accompained on the piano by Mrs. Laura Moosman. Vocal solo "That wonderful mother of mine" by Rulon Waite accompained by Miss Lucile Roylance. The grave in the Smithfield City Cemetary was dedicated by Lenord Sorensen. Mrs. Moosman was bom December De-cember 8, 1873, at Panguitch, a daughter of James and Annie Hansen Schow. She moved here with her husband four years ago after having lived in Escalante fori 60 years. At Escalante she was an ardent LDS Relief Society worker and a member of the ward choir nearly al her life. She was married to William Moosman in the MantI LDS temple on July 15, 1897. Survxivors, in addition to her husband, include two sons and three daughters, Walter R., and Ira L. Moosman, both of Smith-field; Smith-field; Mrs. Lillie May Barney and Mrs. Melda Porter of Escalante. and Mrs. Nina Yyman of Salt Lake City; 23 grandchildren, two freat-grandchildren, and the fol-j fol-j Sowir.g brothers.
