Show Second Lieut. Commissions For Young Men An opportunity for young men with college degrees to obtain Second Lieutenant commissions and be assigned to active duty with the Army Air Corps as photographic laboratory commanders comman-ders is now available, Major Ben B. Blair, U.SA Ret'd adjutant of the college ROTC unit.announ-ced unit.announ-ced Tuesday. The information was received from Ninth Corps Area headquarters head-quarters which indicated that the training includes no pilot instruction instru-ction and prepares only for ground duty. Applicants for this training, will first undergo a three-month technical course in an Army school at Lowry Field at Denver, Colorado during which period the training will include instruction In administration, basic theory of photography, camera operation., negative processing, printing, assembly as-sembly and interpretation of aerial photographs and map reading. Second phase of the training will consist of duty with Air Corps units at various Army stations. Applicants for this training must be unmarried citizens of the United States, between the ages 20 and 26, inclusive, of good character, sound physique, and in excellent health. Applicants must also meet the standards prescribed for appointment in the Officerrs' Reserve Corps. |
