Show Catch Big Ones Two Logan Fishermen Report Good Catches Reports of good fishing in the Logan river dams and clearing weather, indicate that Cache county anglers will fare better as the season progresses. Don Britzell of Logan, ' fishing on the upper dam in Logan canyon, can-yon, caught a 6 pound native-rainbow native-rainbow trout Wednesday morning. He reported fishing for only a few minutes when he hooked the big one about 7 a.m. The 21 inch trout was taken on light tackle with a worm bait. He caught two other nice ones before returning home with his weight limit. Roy Larsen also was among the . lucky fishermen Wednesday. He j hooked a pound German ! brown in the same reservoir and several others averaging about a pound each. 1 Several limit catches were re-1 ported taken from the Hyrum city dam in Blacksmith Fork canyon. This water, closed last year for national defense reasons, has been reopened 75 feet above the spillway as posted on the grounds. Heavy rains have muddied both Logan and Blacksmith Fork rivers riv-ers and few good stream catches have been made. |
