Show Cache County Fair September 10-11-12 Another big event of Logan for Cache County is the Cache County Coun-ty Fair, Tuesday, Wednesday' and Thursday September 10, 11, and 12. The Cache County Farm Bureau is sponsoring the fair with ithe help from the Cache County Commission, Logan chamber cham-ber of commerce and all the cities cit-ies and communities of the county. coun-ty. The executive Committee has set the days for the fair as follows: foll-ows: Tuesday September 10, Logan Log-an City school day. On this day all business houses will be asked to close as they were Inst year. Last year it rained and there was no closing. The committee hopes for better luck this year. All city schools will be asked to close for this day. The Logan High School band will play for the Logan City school day. Wednesday Sept. 1 J! it .'h! North Cache school day and all the. schools for the north end. of the county will be asked to close and the North Cache hanj will furnish the music. Thursday Sept. 12, will be South cacao school day and all the schools of the south end of the county will be asked to close. The South. Cache hand will furnish the mu3io for this day. To create more interest and to provide a tie up with each community com-munity the mayors of all the communities outside of Logan will be asked to arrange for the appointment of a Cache County Fair Queen to ride in the grand entry each day of the fair. The queen from the particular school district will head the grand entry en-try the day designated at the fair for that school district. The name of the queen will be drawn to head the grand entry each day. If the community desires to have more than one girl in the grand entry as an attendant to their queen they may do so. The Logan entries for the Logan queen will be received at the chamber of commerce now. Any women or girl may enter. At a later date the queen will be selected by a competent judge. Any girl entering enter-ing the contest may ride in the grand entry as an attendent if not selected as the Logan queen. |
