Show OBITUARIES James Hodgson James Hodgson, 77, ' Richmonr;. a native of England, died Thursday Thurs-day at 4:45 a. m. in a Logan hospital of a two and one-half year illness. He was born October 19, 1867 at Stockton-on-Lees, England, a son of Isaac and Elizabeth Hodgson. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lottie Hill Hodgson, Richmond Rich-mond one son, Kenneth G. Hodgson, Hodg-son, Newark, N. J., one daughter,. Myrl Hodgson, Richmond, and a sister: Mrs. Elizabeth Bell, Los, Angeles, Calif. Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted Sunday at 2 p. m. in the Richmond tabernacle. Friends may call at the home Saturday even- j ing and Sunday until time of services. Burial will be in the Richmond cemetery. Takes Office-Miss Office-Miss Elva Oldroyd, Venice, has been named vice president of the USAC senior class to succeed Leoh Wadley Robinson, Pleasant Grove, who did not return to school the spring quarter, college student officials of-ficials report. Miss Oldroyd, who will graduate from the school of arts and sciences in June is president presi-dent of Lambda Delt- Sigu.a o.i the campus and affiliated with Theta Alpha Phi honorary dra-; matic fraternity. She is debate manager and a member of the USAC debate squad. |
