Show COUNCIL SLATES U OF SCOUTING First Session is Thursday in Lewiston Dates for the annual Cache Valley Val-ley Council University of Scouting were set Sunday by Executive Preston W. Pond, after conference meetings with members of the council's leadership training committee, com-mittee, j The "University," held each fall j to -prepare leaders for work during the coming year, will open Thursday Thurs-day at Lewiston with a church-scout church-scout relationship session, Mr. Pond announced. General authorities author-ities of the LDS ichurch will be in charge of the meeting, which will be for all institutional heads of scout troops. The classwork 'will be divided into two sections, one for Frank lin Oneida, and Benson, districts, to be held in Preston, Ida., and the other for Smithfleld, Cache, Logan, and Hyrum districts, at Logan Junior high school. The Preston sessions, will be held In the Franklin LOS stake house .Ifovernber 23, 28, and Dec. 3, 6, 12 and 17 under direction of Marlow Woodward and Wells Mclntyre, Preston, and B. C. Monson, Richmond. Rich-mond. Dr. John C. Carlisle, chairman of the leadership training committee, commit-tee, will be in charge of the Logan Lo-gan courses, slated for November 19, 26, 29, December 5, 10 and 13 j at the Logan Junior high school, i He will be assisted by Fred Duce, Hyde Park, and Lewis Brenchley, Wellsville. j |
