Show Makes Record j A registered Holstein-Friesian cow in the dairy herd owned by the U. State Agricultural college recently completed a 305-day production pro-duction record of 661.9 pounds of butterfat and 18,739 pounds of milk, George B. Caine, professor of dairy husbandry reports. This production record is more than ! three and one-half times greater than the production of the average aver-age dairy cow in the nation. The high producer's official name is Willowdale Inka Tribune. She was milked three times daily and was five years, nine months of age when the test period began. Not the first time a champion, she was grand champion at the Utah State fair last year, won the four year old production record with 845 pounds of fat. |
