| Show SENIORS GUESTS OF STATE during the week beginning may 12 the state agricultural college at logan entertained over wo young men and young women representing ane senior classes of the high of the state it was the first vocational school ever held in the wet for high school folks and they were most enthusiastic over their visit mrs lillis bryner was chosen to represent the carbon county high school and she wrote of her trip to the news advocate that friends of the high school and the state institution might know the details dt tAils of the affair the letter was received just a little too late for public publication pub licati aton oi last week but it has not suffered with the delay it reads to the news advocate we arrived in logan about 8 30 monday night may alay and people from the U A C met us with cars and took us up to the college campus the girls were made comfortable la in the building while the bos camped down in the gymnasium I 1 say caril camped ped for tint is what we ill all did slept on regular arri arird 3 cots and blankets the next morning tuesday we got up lp at 6 belh bellg some of us very tired and sleepy from the effects of the dy day before had breakfast at 7 30 general assembly at 9 00 a in we listened to some splendid lectures until 1100 then we were invited down to the seniors program in the afternoon each group had a guide and were shown through all of the buildings and everything of interest on the campus which I 1 may a ka was wonderful the college sa Is situ cited on a high hill overlooking over looking the town The entire campus is a mass of trees green grass and be beau iu ticul howar in the evening we ere invited to a gel get acquainted bobial given in the large gymnasium we had a splendid time and met all of the representatives from the different high schools of the state aa As a whole logan is a beautiful e the college I 1 met sime of the finest people I 1 could ever wish to meet ibe the leaders who had ahr work ork in charge did ill everything every thing in their power to do the right thing ry ty bah and every representative and they surely bucce succeeded eded in doing it I 1 don t think I 1 shall ever forget my visit to logan it will always bring biek hick pie bisant sant memories of the splendid people there nd their general hospitality I 1 ours truly LILLIS |
