| Show GOOD UV PROGRAM ON GOOD BOOKS the second program for good book cook week was given at the library wednesday evening A musical program was first given consisting of choice musical selections by prof A burg eners orchestra a number from the high school chorus and a duet by A burgener Burge ncr and seymour prows tho the literary part consisted of papers and talks on good literature by mis mrs R 11 walters representing ing the I 1 price rice roy cotrell of price academy and ba b miss anna benton of the high school miss inez scott gave gava a reading confessional which was well receives received the program pr of the opening was especially entertaining and instructive and the audience was composed of those most interested in good literature for children and in tho the welfare of the library to miss mattie strong tho the librarian and her committee is the credit due for the successful good book week the closing events of athe series will bo be taken up in the churches next sunday one of the best times of the holida season is being prepared pie pared by the seniors of the high school they are planning a grand dancing party for christmas night in the high 1 gym |
