Show swarm day rites held on tuesday morgan stake bee hive swarm exercises exercises were held tuesday evening in the morgan high school A large crowd was in attendance to enjoy the program which was in keeping with the centennial the bee hive girls wore pioneer costumes with bonnets made of crepe paper in in pastel shades older residents of the stake were specially invited guests the following program was presented songs in charge of carol and margaret redden flag ceremony by the richville ward louise waldron in charge pioneer play north morgan ward mary smith in charge pioneer dances by bee hive girls with norma criddle as leader opening and closing prayers were offered by bee hive girls porterville and devils slide wards were on the reception committee and pinned corsages of sage brush on each guest emma harding bernice bates and glenna porter were in in charge of making and distributing the printed programs diplomas and honor badges were awarded the girls ice cream and cookies were served as refreshments |
