| Show fine arts group now member of state federation mrs S B dunn president of the fine arts study group and faye williams elected delegate to the fifty fourth annual convention of the utah federation of clubs held in salt lake city last week represented the newly affiliated filia ted local club for the first time since its organization several years ago presentation of the morgan group was made by mrs 0 J kingston of murray she stated that she took special pride and pleasure in in presenting the morgan club because she still considers morgan her home town and has never lost losi interest in its activities applause followed her announcement and signified a hearty acceptance mrs airs lefere dickinson national president of federated clubs praised the activities and accomplishments of the utah federation she also gave two excellent lectures on the topic of our national relationship with russia based upon her actual observations as a united nations delegate to russia last year many interesting and vital topics were discussed during the several sessions election of state officers took place on may 20 of special interest to morgan friends was the election of mrs airs 0 J kingston as president of the utah federation mrs kingston will be remembered by many as kathryn logan daughter of mr and mrs james logan she has been active in club work and civic projects in murray and salt lake city for several years this signal honor comes as a well earned reward for her achievements she is the youngest woman to be elected to this honor in utah morgan may well be proud of the accomplishments ments of mrs kingston mrs T R kingston the former nina willis also a former morgan woman is president of the central district of the utah federation and is well known throughout state club activities these two women should serve as an inspiration to our local group on monday afternoon mrs daisy crouch mrs joseph francis and mrs 11 H francis also att attended C a sess session j 0 n of the convention ven tion mrs 11 II T high of devils slide attended the installation banquet with mrs airs dunn and ali miss iss williams mrs james logan was vas also present at the formal affair which aich was held in the lafayette ballroom of the hotel utah |
