Show FACTS ABOUT MORGAN FARM LOAN association on the first of No member 1938 the morgan national farm loan association joined the grouping ot of associations of weber and davis counties making one secretary treasurer for the three counties I 1 the grouping of the morgan association with the other associations however did not in any way interfere with the identity of the boigan association which is still operated under the direction of the r ive ve directors from morgan county who at the present time are lincoln I 1 jensen president milton J W toone vice president croyden J A parrish mountain green carl phillips porterville and john compton morgan I 1 i the local office Is responsible for or collections and has complete access I 1 to any anfor information mation desired by the members in grouping with the other associations I 1 considerable saving Is made to the advantage of the morgan association s ocia tion the morgan group have approximately of stock in the federal land bank and have the same amount in the association approximately has been loaned to the people for morgan county for the first six months of 1939 was paid through the ogden office to be remitted to the land bank for Jn interest terest and principal payments loans are being written thru the association so at the rate ot of 4 per cent per annum but at the present time thru an act of Cony congress ress the borrowers are only paying paying 3 percent per cent interest loans are made for 50 per cent of the appraised value of the land plus 20 per cent on improvements the morgan national farm loan Is strictly a cooperative organization and Is being administered by the local director directors s and the farmers are given every consideration possible |
