Show TWO NEW DISTRICT COOP agreements ARE AKE ANNOUNCED the signing of two new district cooperative agreements with william anderson and george brouen morgan county farmers was announced last week by 0 W rollins mchannan of the M S C dietr district c board of supervisors mr anderson will practice contour tillage and basin list his dry farm land to control erosion and conserve moisture A section of smith creek running through mr andersons dersons Am irrigated land will be cleaned and deepened to prevent silting and of valuable crop land sanborn slough will be stabilized by a rock percolator where it enters smith creek mr brough is starting an extensive program for the improvement and maintenance of his dry farm irrigated and range land the program includes seeding of steep dry farm land to permanent hay a dike and fence along east canyon Cany creek and two miles of boundary fence to protect range land trespass livestock labor for fencing and other improvement pro work on both agree ments will be furnished by the S C S side camp at morgan both mr anderson and mr brough will practice crop rotations and stock their range according to carrying capacity figures furnished by the S C S range examiner |
