Show BACK TO THE FARM MOVEMENT widespread A report from the census bureau I 1 received by county agent C B R 1 richards indicates that there has been some movement of P people eople from the town to the farms the following mr richards reports p orts as the situation in utah and t irl in morgan county over persons who were living on utah farms on january 1 1936 1036 moved from resl resi j dences during the preceding five years the movement of persons I 1 to farms and ranches was most extensive around urban areas almost one halt half of the total of the movement was recorded in salt lake and utah counties persons living on farms and ranches totaled on january 1 1936 of which were white and 2754 were of nonwhite races more than one fourth of the states farm and ranch population lived in salt lake and utah counties dwellings on farms and ranches numbered of which were occupied morgan county had on the of january 1935 persons on farms who reported living allvin in town or city on january 1 1930 the above figures were made I 1 public the fore part of the week |
