SR. oclock Highly Respected Pioneer of Morgan County Died at Home in Richville, Monday, Nov. 21st. at the age of seventy-six- . He leaves a wife and seven children to mourn his departure. Mr. Peterson was born in Denmark, Dec. 3rd, 183-1- , mar- Marqeath Juulson. 1856, 29, emigrated to Utah May in 1863 and settled in Richville, Morgan county, where they have since made their home. To this union eleven children were born, nine boys and t.vo girls. One daughter and three sons have passed away. Mr. Peterson was a pioneer in Morgan county and engaged in farming and stockraising in which he was very successful. About six years ago he suffered a stroke of paralysis, from which he never fully recovered. Miss Hazel Eddington is re covering slowly from her recent attack of typhoid fever. Quite a number of the students who are attending school at Provo, came home to spend Thanksgiving. Mrs. Susie Clark, wife of Mayor A. L. Clark, gave a reception, Friday night in honor of the new arrivals in the town. The specially invited guests were Mesdames Robert Miller, Louie L, Barton and Mrs. Dr. Tanner, The dining room was decorated in yellow and green and in the evening lighted with yellow and green candles. The hostess was assisted by Mesdames Eugene Clark, Edna Clark Erickson of Leone Stewart and Chicago, Lucy Steed. A very fine lunch was served. Miss Hazel Udy and Mrs. Dr. Heath rendered some sweet vocal selections and the Misses Wealthy and Phyllis Clark furnished the music. There were about forty present and a very enjoyable time was had.
