Show Truck Collision Claims ms Life Of Gunnison Gunn Man Alan ManA AlanA A two two truck truck collision at South and an 1st West in Gunnison Gunni Gunni- son last Friday Oct at 1030 30 am a.m. ended the life of 66 year-old year Eldon Anderson of Centerfield The Anderson pickup pickup pickup pick pick- up was hit broadside by Bert Gribble 71 Gunnison who was driving a cattle truck The Andersons were traveling traveling travel travel- ing north while Mr Gribble was heading east Mr Gribble suffered minor injuries The Andersons were taken to the Gunnison Hospital where Mr Anderson died shortly after noon The victims victim's wife Lula Myrup Anderson is still in the Gunnison Hospital receiving treatment Oris Eldon Anderson 66 was born July 15 1902 in Gunnison to D David vid and Martha K Christensen Christensen Christensen Chris Chris- Anderson He attended Gunnison and Sevier schools He married Lula Myrup Oct 24 1923 He has worked for the Forest Service Gunnison Sugar factory Jensen Saw Mills in Centerfield and assisted with a flock of turkeys for many years Survivors include his widow sons and one daughter Dee Eldon Eldon Eldon El El- don New York City Oris Clark and Mrs Kent Joy Andreason both Salt Lake 3 grandchildren brother and sister sister sister sis sis- sis sis- ter Jess Anderson and Edna EdnaA A A.
